The Greater Philadelphia Chapters are happy to announce that a date has been settled for the Annual Day of Recollection: Saturday, 10 March 2012 8:30 am-3:15 pm at St Peter's Rectory 5th & Girard Sts. Phila.

Our speaker and homilist for the occasion is Fr Philip G. Bochanski, C.O., currently chaplain to the in-city chapter.

We will be following our typical schedule (below); as per usual, a head count for lunch is requested (reply this e-address).

Here's a Lenten opportunity to take stock, pray and enjoy the camaraderie of friends old and new; looking forward to hearing from you.

8:30 Silent Adoration with confessions available after exposition.
9:15 Lauds followed by simple Benediction
9:45 Introduction and 1st talk, followed by Q&A; brief preparation of liturgical music
11:10 Confessions in Upper Church; Rosary in our Lady's Chapel
11:35 Celebration of 1st Saturday in Lent in Upper Church
12:30 Lunch (served in house)
1:30 Second Talk / Q&A
3:00 Divine Mercy Chaplet - dismissal (often followed by personal visitation to major reliquary of St John Neumann in the crypt church)

The Sister Servants of the Eternal Word invite you a Men's Courage Retreat given by Father Paul Check, Executive Director of Courage. The retreat's theme will be Catholic Manhood.

The retreat starts at 7 pm Friday, March 23, and lasts until 2 pm Sunday, March 25. The retreat will feature conferences by Father Check, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass each day, opportunities for Sacramental Confession, as well as fellowship with fellow members of Courage.
